We believe in the power of Story, Natures Wisdom and a New Generation. Like a Mothertree, we see our stories as seeds, we plant into the world for change.  We are dedicated to telling real stories from real people in cinematic and new ways – people, who wanna inspire change, with their own visions – are you one of them?

Like an ecosystem we co-create internationally with other filmmakers and producers, to make our vision possible – but fully develope our stories in house. As mothertrees do by nature, every story told by us, invests back to earth, indigenous people and and nature. Our Mission is to awaken and remember that a new world is possible. And yes, Mothertree Films is based on the wisdom of a real southafrican tree – „The Old Boabab“ – a dear friend from our Founder Anna Zemann. We probably going to tell this story one day …

If you feel inspired to create with us, we love to hear your story.
